Care & Preservation

The ring band is finished in high-quality 18K gold plating, offering lasting durability and a rich, polished finish.

To help preserve the band's polished appearance and protect the genuine larimar gemstone, we recommend removing the ring before showering, using a sauna, swimming, or exposure to pools, ocean water, and harsh chemicals.

Larimar is a naturally softer gemstone and should be handled with care. Avoid accidental drops or hard impact, as the stone may chip or scratch. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight is also best avoided, as it may gradually affect larimar's natural color over time.

About Gemstone

Larimar is a rare blue variety of pectolite. It is an exceptionally rare gemstone, found naturally in only one known location in the world: the Dominican Republic. Its formation is closely linked to volcanic activity, where mineral-rich fluids interacted with cavities in volcanic rock over time.

Its color ranges from pale sky blue to deeper blue and blue-green, often accompanied by white or lighter areas that form organic, cloud-like, wave-like, or marbled patterns. These natural variations are characteristic of Larimar and give each stone a distinctly different appearance.

In jewellery, Larimar is especially valued for its rare origin, ocean-like color, and naturally occurring patterns. The combination of blue tones and individual markings makes each gemstone visually unique, while its soft, luminous appearance brings a distinctive character to the jewellery it becomes part of.
