Lemurian Quartz is a unique variety of clear quartz distinguished by horizontal striations or ribbed patterns along its sides. These natural grooves form distinctive ridges across the crystal faces, giving Lemurian Quartz its characteristic textured appearance and setting it apart from more typical clear quartz crystals.

Like other quartz, Lemurian Quartz is composed of silicon dioxide and can range from highly transparent to softly cloudy, with natural inclusions, internal fractures, and variations in clarity. Its elongated crystal formations and pronounced surface striations create an especially distinctive interaction with light.
